One Bad Azz Burger AwardI think summer and burgers just mesh so perfectly. There is nothing like enjoying a nice big burger sitting out by the pool with friends and family. But you’re a vegan! (screeching halt sound).

Actually being a vegan is so much better because the burgers are off the hook amazing. As vegans our burgers are not limited to cheap ground beef. Vegan friendly burgers are made from many different ingredients including black beans, veggies, sweet potatoes and so much more.

So our editors scoured the Internet in search of the best vegan burger recipes we could find and stamped them with our “One Bad Azz Burger” award. The burgers below earned the “One Bad Azz Burger” Award because they are creative and darn good. These are the 10 best recipes we sampled. They are not listed in order of best to worst, these are just 10 great burgers. If burgers are not your thing then be sure to check out our list of 10 great vegan stuffed pepper recipes.

Below is a great infographic I found on the environmental impact of a hamburger. It’s really great information, at the end they suggest choosing meat and dairy products that come from organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed animals. Now obviously I don’t agree with that at all but that’s a whole different conversation.
