Great Vegan Places To Eat In Atlanta

The ninth largest metropolitan area in the United States, home to over five million people, “Hotlanta” as some call it is a great place to live a vegan lifestyle.

The city boasts over seventy eating establishments exclusively vegan or vegan friendly.

You can start off your stay upon landing at Atlanta Hartsfield, where you’ll find an outlet of the regional chain, “Nature’s Table,” whose menu has vegan friendly options.

There are options you’ll enjoy all over the metropolitan area, but let’s take a look at some favorites Atlanta residents prefer.

East of downtown, in the Kirkwood neighborhood, the Dulce Vegan Bakery and Cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday until 6 PM and Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM. Dulce is 100% vegan and allergy friendly, and provides cruelty-free products, made with organic, local or fair trade ingredients. In addition to beautiful and tasty desserts, Dulce has recently added a rotating menu of soup, sandwiches, salads, and coffees and teas.

When you’re ready to prepare your vegan options at home for family or guests, in addition to shopping at main stream markets like Whole Foods and Trader Joes, with many area locations, Atlanta has a number of specialty groceries vegan enthusiasts will enjoy.

Two of the best are the Sevananda Natural Foods Market, and the Ultra Locavore Buford Highway Farmers Market.

Everything you’d find at a regular grocery is available at Sevananda, except at this store, everything is natural, without artificial ingredients, non-GMO, and lacking animal by-products or pesticides. The store is at 467 Moreland Avenue NE, and is open every day from 9 AM to 10 PM.
